Project Overview
The 5th "Contemporary Theatre Biennale" was held in Shenzhen, featuring 26 performances, 10 play readings, 5 workshops, and 2 avant-garde dialogues. The event attracted over 8,000 on-site audience members, with multiple shows sold out. As a Promotion & Event Execution Intern, I was deeply involved in content operation, event planning, and on-site execution.
Project Background
The Contemporary Theatre Biennale is a major theatrical event in China, hosted by Meng Jinghui Theatre Studio. It aims to promote contemporary theatre creation and dissemination, providing a platform for young theatre practitioners. This year's biennale expanded in scale compared to previous editions, requiring breakthroughs in multi-platform communication and offline event coordination.
Execution Process
Promotion & Content Operation
- Responsible for content operation and copywriting on WeChat Official Account, Xiaohongshu, and other platforms
- Participated in event content planning and multi-platform communication strategy development
- Focused on content planning and promotion for public welfare theatre programs like "Reading Unit"
Event Execution & Coordination
- Assisted in on-site management of 26 performances, 10 play readings, 5 workshops, and 2 avant-garde dialogues
- Participated in "Reading Unit" public welfare theatre on-site execution, coordinating event flow
- Responsible for promotional material production and on-site scheduling, handling emergencies
